Inspired by the Balinese architectural principle of Saka Pat, which holds that the strongest buildings rest on four main pillars, we’ve adopted this idea as the foundation of our philosophy at Sri Ratih. Our staff, 100% local, is like family, with many having been with us for years. Together, we work, eat, celebrate, and support one another—just as we do with our guests.
Minimizing our environmental impact is vital in Bali, a place where resources like water are precious. We aim to operate as sustainably as possible, using locally made, natural products in our bathrooms and working with seasonal ingredients in our kitchen to reduce food waste. Even our laundry service is designed to be eco-conscious, as we launder upon request rather than daily refreshes, to save water and energy.
Visual art is woven into the very fabric of Sri Ratih. With our roots in craftsmanship, we’ve adorned our spaces with works by local artisans, from the guestrooms to the public areas.
